A giant maze has been created in a cornfield on the Iwase Farm, which covers the cities of Kagamiishi and Sukagawa in Fukushima Prefecture.

Visitors enjoy finding their way along the two-kilometre-long trail. The field, which is about 1.2 hectares wide, is home to about 3-metre-high fodder corn.

The event started four years ago to help children have fun in the summer. “I was nervous to go out, but it was fun,” said a third-grade elementary school student from Fukushima City, who tackled the maze with her family.

The maze is open until the end of September.
