PARIS — Maison Yoshiki Paris, a fashion brand from Yoshiki of the rock band X Japan, held its first runway show in Paris on Monday during Paris Fashion Week for the brand’s spring/summer 2025 collection.
The show was held in a large exhibition hall near the Eiffel Tower. Yoshiki played the piano as models walked the runway in a variety of outfits, including kimono-style tops, shirts made of sheer material and a dress with a large image of Yoshiki’s face.
The brand debuted in Milan in February and Monday’s event was its second show.
“I originally created this project in Paris,” Yoshiki said in an interview after the show. “I wanted to get here as quickly as possible.”
