The manga series โBoku no Hero Academiaโ (โMy Hero Academiaโ) reached the 100 million copies mark Thursday, including electronic books, with the 40th volume published by Shueisha Inc.
The manga is currently being serialized in the publisher’s weekly manga magazine Shukan Shonen Jump.
Kohei Horikoshi’s action-packed manga, which tells the story of a high school student who strives to become the greatest hero, has also gained popularity abroad, including in the United States. According to Shuiesha, more than 40 million of the 100 million copies were printed outside Japan.
