Yu Darvish pitched seven scoreless innings, extending his scoreless streak to 25 frames, and earned his 200th professional victory as the visiting San Diego Padres defeated the Atlanta Braves 9-1 on Sunday.
Darvish has 107 MLB wins to go along with the 03 he recorded in Japan for the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters. Darvish is the third pitcher with 200 wins between MLB and Japan, behind Hiroki Kuroda (203) and Hideo Nomo (201).
Darvish (4-1) allowed two hits and one walk and struck out a season-high nine. He retired the last 13 batters he faced on a two-out walk in the third inning by Ronald Acuna Jr.. He has not allowed a run since missing 12 games while on the injured list due to a tight neck.
