Bronny James said during a press conference on Tuesday that he is ready to handle the pressure that comes with playing alongside his NBA superstar father LeBron on the Los Angeles Lakers.
The 19-year-old former University of Southern California player, who was selected 55th overall by the Lakers last week in the NBA draft, will form a father-son duo for the first time in NBA history when he plays for the Lakers next season.
The Lakers’ decision to sign the teenager was met with skepticism in some quarters. Experts say the Lakers would have picked him if he hadn’t been LeBron James’ eldest son.
