June 07 (News about Japan) – In broad daylight, three gigantic bears appeared at a ‘campsite’. They devoured the food on the tables and smashed the tents, causing great damage.
However, this campsite is actually a replica of a zoo.
This is the third year of this initiative, aimed at raising awareness about wild bear conflicts.
The bears’ performances were impressively realistic, but that’s no surprise.
These bears were originally wild. They were captured seven years ago after causing damage to local residents’ homes and have been housed at the zoo ever since.
