Japan translates physics book into braille

Scientists, visually impaired researchers and Braille experts in Japan have translated a book about advanced physics research into the tactile writing system for visually impaired readers.

The book, which focuses on the origins of the universe and matter, joins a list of scientific books in Braille, which is very short in Japan given the special knowledge required to translate them.

The book, written by researchers from the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, known as KEK, explains how the universe was formed 13.8 billion years ago and how matter, Earth and life emerged, based on the latest knowledge and results of recent experiments. .
