Mazda Unveils New CX-80 SUV, Reservations Begin in May for Germany; Date for Japan to be announced later

Mazda Motor Corp. on Thursday unveiled the CX-80 three-row SUV, which will be launched in Europe in the fall of this year and in Japan at the end of this year.

The price and model of the automaker’s flagship SUV vary by region.

Reservations for the car will start in May with a starting price of €55,350 (approximately ¥9.1 million) in Germany. Mazda has not yet announced the price or pre-sale date in Japan.

The CX-80 is about 5 meters long and comes in different variants, such as one with a split second row of seats for easy access to the rear seats, and a three-seater.
