Three-time reigning Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen said on Thursday that Red Bull was his home, but then concluded his meeting with the media at the Miami Grand Prix by teasing that you never know what life has in store.
With Red Bull’s top-rated designer Adrian Newey announcing he would be leaving earlier this week, Verstappen appeared to put an end to mounting speculation that he was also listening to offers, declaring his future was with the energy drinks company.
Reports in Germany have linked Verstappen with a possible move to Mercedes, which is looking for a replacement for seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton who will join Ferrari at the end of the season.
