Serbia is demanding that UEFA, European football’s governing body, punish Croatia and Albania after accusing their fans of hateful chanting during the 2024 European Championship in Hamburg on Wednesday.
Jovan Surbatovic, general secretary of the Football Association of Serbia, said a formal complaint had been filed, alleging that fans of Croatia and Albania chanted “Kill, kill, kill the Serbian” during the 2-2 draw.
He even threatened that Serbia, which has also been accused by UEFA of incidents during the defeat to England last Saturday, would withdraw from the tournament.
