Shohei Ohtani increases home run binge as Dodgers dump Angels

Shohei Ohtani hit a long homer against his former team for the second night in a row, helping the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 7-2 victory over the Los Angeles Angels at Dodger Stadium.

Ohtani pounded a 450-foot home run to right-center one night after sending a ball 1,555 feet over the center-field fence. He has six home runs in the past seven games and leads the National League with 23.

Gavin Lux also homered and Tyler Glasnow struck out 10 in seven innings as the Dodgers earned a split of the two-game series. Glasnow (8-5) gave up two runs (one earned) and two hits and did not issue a walk.
