Tokyo (Jiji Press) โ Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa on Sunday emphasized that Tokyo will continue to support Nepal’s sustainable development.
Kamikawa made the pledge on Sunday during a meeting with Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Nepal’s deputy prime minister and foreign minister, in Kathmandu, the South Asian country’s capital.
Nepal, now a least developed country, aims to climb out of the status by 2026.
The self-sufficient development of Nepal, located between major powers India and China, will contribute to the stability of the entire region, Kamikawa told reporters online after the meeting.
