PARIS — Yui Kamiji has won gold in the women’s wheelchair tennis singles after beating Dutchwoman Diede de Groot 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 on Friday at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
Kamiji won gold in the women’s wheelchair tennis doubles with Manami Tanaka on Thursday, beating Dutch duo de Groot and Aniek van Koot, becoming the first Japanese duo to do so.
