BEIJING30th of May (News about Japan) – Kokuyo, known for its high-quality and innovative office furniture, has opened a new office in Beijing, featuring height-adjustable desks and phone booth-like areas. The Beijing office is a joint space with Lamex, a furniture brand from Hong Kong with which Kokuyo merged in July 2022.
Japanese Ambassador to China Kenji Kanasugi visited the office, where customers can watch employees at work, allowing Kokuyo to introduce not only office furniture but also new ways of working.
Masahiro Fukui, an executive officer at Kokuyo, said: “Our employees are constantly experimenting and we’re excited for customers to see these experiments in action.”
Wang Bing, Regional Sales Director at Lamex, added: โOur Japanese colleagues are meticulous and serious in their work and strictly adhere to the workflow. I believe this will lead to positive results.โ
Kanasugi commented: “It is encouraging to see Japanese companies flourishing in China’s highly competitive market, and I have great respect for the company’s efforts.”
Ambassador Kanasugi highlighted the various opportunities for cooperation between Japanese and Chinese companies.
