Sudan’s ongoing civil war has led to one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises in decades, the international head of medical charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said on Thursday.
War has been raging for more than a year between the regular army led by army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces led by his former deputy, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo.
โSudan is one of the worst crises the world has seen in decades… and yet the humanitarian response is grossly inadequate,โ said Christos Christou, international chairman of the charity.
