TOKYOSeptember 27 (News On Japan) – Suzuki plans to expand its car dealerships in India by 70% to about 6,800 stores by fiscal year 2030, according to a report by the Nikkei. The automaker has signed contracts with local companies to expand its network, adding about 200 dealers annually in recent years.
From fiscal year 2025, Suzuki wants to accelerate the pace and open an average of 500 stores per year. The company is focusing on nationwide network expansion by establishing outlets in regional cities, where rising income levels are expected due to India’s growing population.
