A recent wave of robberies in several prefectures near Tokyo has put police on high alert, with investigators looking into whether the same people were involved in the crimes.
On Wednesday, Tochigi police arrested two Vietnamese men for allegedly trying to use a stolen debit card to withdraw money from an ATM at a supermarket in Tochigi Prefecture. The debit card belonged to one of the victims of a recent robbery.
