TOKYOOctober 11 (News On Japan) – U-NEXT Holdings on October 10 announced its consolidated financial results for the year ended August 2024, reporting an increase in revenue of approximately 18% to 326.7 billion yen, while net profit increased by approximately 40% increase to 15.3 billion yen, marking a strong increase in both sales and profits.
The company’s sports offering, including volleyball and martial arts events, contributed to the growth by attracting approximately 500,000 new subscribers. In addition, the demand for replacement of POS terminals in response to the issuance of new banknotes increased profits in the business systems sector.
