The Kyu Shibarikyu Gardens in Tokyo’s Minato Ward will be illuminated with a 1-10 (one to ten) lighting event on Tuesday during a press preview for the Kyu Shibarikyu Yakai. The event was scheduled to open on Wednesday at the garden, which was constructed in the Edo period (1603-1867), and will take place from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm through Saturday. The preview featured digital art and original music representing the transition from the Edo period to today around the Daisensui Pond, which measures approximately 9,000 square meters. It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance online for ยฅ1,000 per person, although a limited number of tickets are sold on site.
