BRUSSELS –
Ukraine has asked the Biden administration to provide more information about the position of Russian forces and military targets in Russia as Ukrainian forces struggle to hold their ground in the war, according to U.S. and Ukrainian officials.
A group of Ukrainian lawmakers also met with members of Congress in Washington to urge the United States to allow Ukraine to use American weapons in Russia.
Ukraine’s requests have become more urgent in recent weeks as Russia has taken advantage of delays in US weapons deliveries and the intensification of military operations in the Kharkov region of northeastern Ukraine.
